Reticle
Verification layer for AI coding agents: a dev-only SDK inside your web or desktop app lets the agent drive real flows and read network calls, app state and console, then returns a pass, fail or cannot-tell verdict with the file and line to fix; saved flows replay without an AI model and can gate CI.

About Reticle
Reticle is listed in our coding category and is aimed at builders. Verification layer for AI coding agents: a dev-only SDK inside your web or desktop app lets the agent drive real flows and read network calls, app state and console, then returns a pass, fail or cannot-tell verdict with the file and line to fix; saved flows replay without an AI model and can gate CI. Pricing, as the maker states it: Embeddable SDK packages are Apache-2.0; the server, init and test packages are FSL-1.1-ALv2 (free for internal use, Apache-2.0 after two years); the hosted platform at app.reticle.sh is free to start with no credit card; enterprise features need a paid licence (price not listed publicly). Maturity: Active. We last checked the official link on 2026-10-21.
What is Reticle?
Reticle checks whether your AI coding agent's work is actually done. A small dev-only SDK sits inside your running web or desktop app, and your agent gets tools to look, act, observe and assert through it, reading network responses, real store state, console errors and each element's source line rather than a screenshot.
Every check ends in a verdict, yes, no or cannot tell, with the evidence and the file and line to fix. Flows you verify can be saved and replayed deterministically without an AI model (Reticle cites about 480 tokens for a four-flow suite), and 'reticle gate' fails a CI change that touches a saved flow without a new passing run. It works with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, VS Code, Gemini CLI and other MCP clients, on React, Next.js, Vue, Svelte, Angular, Electron and Tauri apps; the SDK is stripped from production builds.

Paseo
Orchestrate multiple coding agents from desktop and mobile.
code-review-graph
Local code knowledge graph built with Tree-sitter that serves compact review context over MCP, so coding agents read only the files a change touches.
Repomix
CLI and web tool that packs an entire repository into a single AI-friendly file (with an MCP server) so coding agents and LLMs get full codebase context.
Planning With Files
File-based planning for coding agents, keeping Markdown plans that survive crashes and session resets.
shadcn/lint
Linter for Tailwind design systems from shadcn that turns your design rules into checks coding agents can run and fix against.
rtk
A CLI proxy that sits between coding agents and your shell and trims noisy command output before it reaches the model, cutting token use on everyday commands like tests, builds and git. Free and open source, with an RTK Pro tier for teams.
