Customer support WhatsApp bot
An n8n workflow that answers customer questions on WhatsApp using a Google Doc as its knowledge base. Update the doc and the answers change, with no retraining. It also understands dates in the doc, so it can say when you reopen.
- Receives customer questions on your WhatsApp Business number.
- Reads your Google Doc (policies, schedule, FAQ) in real time.
- Combines the doc, today's date and the question into a prompt for Gemini or ChatGPT, and replies on WhatsApp.
- Logs every conversation to Google Sheets.
- Connect the WhatsApp Cloud API (Meta) and your Google account.
- Choose Gemini or OpenAI, paste your document ID, and connect the WhatsApp webhook.
- Reads the Google Doc you choose and writes to a Google Sheet.
